We woke up at 8am, though most of us still exhausted
we all managed to get up and make our way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Ela: Wow my last day in Alaska, this trip has gone by so fast but I can honestly say I have grown so much in these past 10 days and this is one of the best experiences I have had in my life so far. This day had so many layers to it but my favourite was definitely sitting in a circle with my fellow pilgrims and sharing our thoughts about our personal pilgrimage and hearing what others had to say about the changes they've seen in me. Sadly though we had to leave Alaska and I left without seeing the Northern Lights, bur God works in mysterious ways and when I woke up on the plane I looked out the window and saw the Northern lights one word: Breathtaking. Anyways I have loved experiencing all aspects of this pilgrimage and I will treasure this trip for the rest of my life.
This has been a wonderful blog - thanks to everyone for contributing, and keeping us posted on your incredible experience. It was wonderful to see where you went and to get a sense of what it meant to you as you went through it. You guys are really awesome!!
ReplyDeleteA special congrats to the group leaders, who put together a well-planned, and well-executed pilgrimage. Setting an awfully high standard for the next J2A to meet!! - Murray & Joyce
I can't believe it is over already. Seems like yesterday you were in the Chapel and then at the airport. Like Murray, I have loved reading the posts and seeing the photos. May you travel home safe and savour all the memories you have created together. God bless each one of you.
